THIS GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED!

This is my kind of giveaway!  Cookie samples from Tate’s Bake Shop and….

a copy of Tate’s Bake Shop Cookbook!

After learning more about the history of Tate’s Bake Shop located in Southampton, NY, I started hatching a plan in my mind!  Maybe when my son graduates from college next May (in NY), perhaps I could persuade my family to take a little extra time to visit Tate’s Bake Shop!  I always wanted to visit the Hamptons!  We all know Ina Garten lives there!  And guess what?  Ina Garten wrote the foreword in Kathleen King’s cookbook!  In May, their bake shop will look like this.  Don’t you think I should go?!

Isn’t this lovely!

And right now, their bake shop looks like this!

If this doesn’t get you in the Christmas spirit…I don’t know what will!  I want to go there!  I want to go right now!

The Tate’s cookbook and cookies arrived right before Thanksgiving.  I served the cookie samples to my family on Thanksgiving Day and we all loved them!  I also tested out the Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe from the cookbook (pictured below on the white plate).  All of the cookies were a hit!  If you like crispy, buttery cookies, these are for you!  Aren’t the boxes nice?  I received a box of Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip, and White Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut.  Check out my dessert table on Thanksgiving Day!

After Thanksgiving, I tested the Double Peanut Chocolate Cookie recipe from the cookbook and shared them in the Teacher’s Lunch Room where I work.  They disappeared in no time!  I love them!  (You know me…peanut butter and chocolate is my fav!)  Here’s my photo!

All those cookies have a spot in my belly, but let’s just say I wouldn’t kick white chocolate macadamia nut cookies out of bed, even if their feet were cold.

My first thought is chocolate chip, but I guess it really depends on my mood! I like cookies of all shapes, sizes, flavors, nationalities, creeds, and orientations.
