My family loves ice cream and being that we live in the country we don’t have an ice cream shop near by. I buy a lot of ice cream, but we really love creamy ice cream and that’s hard to find. So I made this batch and it has been a family favorite ever since. It actually only has two ingredients, and the third one is whatever flavor you want it to be. This batch is English Toffee, but we’ve made butterfinger, oreo, chocolate chip, and tons more! It’s so simple to make that the kids have made it on their own. Plus there’s no need to buy an ice cream maker because this recipe doesn’t need it! It does need to be frozen for at least 8 hours so make sure you plan ahead!
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 2 C heavy whipping cream
- 1 (8 ounce) bag English Toffee bits
- Whip the heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
- Slowly mix in the can of sweetened condensed milk.
- Mix until combined.
- Fold in the bag of English Toffee bits.
- Place into a container, cover and place in the freezer for at least 8 hours.
- Serve and enjoy!
