Disclosure: I received the Anolon Advanced Umber 12-piece cooking set to review,
however the opinions expressed are 100% my own.
I am so excited that I finally get to share the good news today! I received this Anolon Advanced Umber 12-piece cooking set awhile ago and I fell in love. Everyone knows that I am a cooking/baking guru and I love to buy new pots, pans, dishes, etc. all the time. My husband has no problem ever finding me a gift that I won’t love as long as it’s cooking related! When I was asked if I’d like to review this set I was ecstatic! I made sure I tried every piece more then once and I can honestly say this set is amazing. I have an older Anolon set, and honestly it’s still in great shape, however this new set outperforms it in so many ways!

Here’s why…the Advanced Umber Collection 12-piece set features:
- heavy-gauge hard anodized aluminum to ensure efficient, even heat distribution for exceptional cooking performance
- DuPont’s rugged nonstick surface is ideal for both healthy cooking and easy clean up
- break-resistant, domed-shaped tempered glass lids allow you to monitor food while it cooks, without losing moisture or nutrients
- revolutionary ergonomic SureGrip handle, a combination of durable stainless steel and silicone rubber, provides a confident yet soft grip
- oven safe to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
- suitable for gas, solid plate, radiant ring, halogen and glass/ceramic stovetops
- hand wash only
- lifetime manufacturer’s warranty
Striking and supremely functional, Anolon Advanced Umber Collection cookware pieces feature durable, hard-anodized aluminum construction for even heating, a metal utensil-safe nonstick interior coating, and comfortable SureGrip handles.
This 12-piece set includes:
- 1-quart open saucepan w/spouts
- 1.5-quart saucepan with cover
- 3-quart saucepan with cover
- 8-quart stockpot with cover
- 8.5″ open skillet
- 12″ deep skillet with cover & helper handle
- 3-quart saute pan with cover
- Retail Price: $299.99
So far this set has not disappointed me in any way. It cooks perfectly, heats up wonderfully, and cleans up beautifully! It has saved me a lot of time preparing dinner as well as cleaning up too. I actually burnt a piece of cheese in a skillet, let it cool, and it wiped out easily. This set is perfect for the experienced cook as well as the beginner.

It’s soup season, and I’m dying to make some chili!
We are huge spaghetti fans, and I cook up a huge batch so I can freeze some sauce too. Then I have something easy to take when we go on road trips in our trailer. I can use the sauce for sloppy joes, spaghetti, sauce over rice — so many ways when traveling.
